About Hlemmur.Haus

Who is it for?

We are a space for creative people. Our members are musicians, writers, designers, developers, film makers, artists, entrepreneurs and so much more.

Our members make us who we are. As a member in our locations you get a chance to shape our new community from a blank slate to vibrancy.

We don’t look for people who just want to rent an office (although that’s part of it!), we look for people who want to participate, who understand the importance of a shared experience and will do their part in building something unique for everyone who joins.

We’ve done this before, we have a pretty good idea how to do it again but it will take time. Not everything will work perfectly from day one. We’re building the plane while flying it so we need people who are in it with us.

 FAQs

  • All studios are currently occupied, but you can join our waiting list in case anything opens up.

    We do have spots available in our coworking space Flex.Haus.

  • We’re a non-profit. Our only priority is to create affordable spaces and a welcoming community. Our prices are as low as we can possibly get them.

  • Most of them are in the 10 sqm range. Some are slightly smaller, a few are up to 40 sqm.

  • All members have access to all of our facilities, internet, free coffee, locker space, communal areas, events and functions.

  • We are a creative space, not an office hotel. Our prices are set as low as possible. We offer some assistance with some things, the rest is up to our members.

    We encourage self initiative and invite you to take an active role in shaping the community and its surroundings.

  • Yes! All of our members have access to both locations. We’re one community with two basecamps.
